EdComs picks up the coveted Grand Prix Award at the EVCOM Industry Awards 2017

EdComs were delighted to be awarded the inaugural Grand Prix Award at the EVCOM Industry Awards last Friday.

EVCOM hosted their 2017 Industry Awards at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel on Friday 17th November 2017.

Four hundred guests gathered to celebrate excellence in the communication disciplines with the ceremony recognising the best-of-the-best in screen, live and digital projects from amongst previous gold winners of the EVCOM Live Awards, the EVCOM Screen Awards and the EVCOM Clarion Awards (2017).

EdComs were delighted to be awarded the coveted Grand Prix Award at the ceremony, for most awarded projects across the three qualifying schemes. A panel of senior communications experts commented on the quality and consistency of our projects and initiatives, for a variety of clients including the Premier League, E.ON, Legal & General, betty and British Olympic Foundation.

Speaking about EdComs winning the Grand Prix Award, the panel of judges provided the following feedback:

“This agency [EdComs] won more awards, across more schemes, across more categories, across more disciplines than any other agency – scooping gold awards in the Live Awards, the Screen Awards and the Clarion Awards.  On this achievement alone, they are a most worthy winner of the Grand Prix Award at this the inaugural EVCOM Industry Awards.  But this award is not simply made on numbers and the judges wanted to say this.   It cannot often be – in the story of an agency – that so many remarkable projects are delivered in such a relatively short period of time.  Or, that those projects –  through their education and impact – can touch so many people and change so many lives.  The judges concluded that not only had this agency swept the board (in pure numbers) but that the impact of their projects had a remarkable cumulative impact for good on the stakeholders and communities they reached.”

In addition, EdComs were thrilled to receive the Gold Award in the Brand Communications category for our work on Premier League Primary Stars programme.
